Acerca de Espiritualidade

Já sou fã do Ricky Gervais há muito tempo e sempre que encontro mais um texto dele, nunca me desilude.

A "Mensagem de Natal" que deixou no blog Speakeasy é acerca do dia em que passou a ser ateu. E coincide exactamente com o meu ponto de vista.

Aconselho a leitura do texto na íntegra, mas saliento um excerto:

"I no longer needed a reason for my existence, just a reason to live. And imagination, free will, love, humor, fun, music, sports, beer and pizza are all good enough reasons for living.

But living an honest life -– for that you need the truth. That’s the other thing I learned that day, that the truth, however shocking or uncomfortable, in the end leads to liberation and dignity."
